How do you want to learn Italian?...It matters

 Learning In General


We learn by experience.   Images, sounds, sensations,
smells, and tastes are the input that our brains elaborate to
form memories. Why wouldn't I use these in my teaching?!?
And why  is  it simpler to learn a language in the country
where it's spoken? Because in that country, everyone and
everything speaks the language: the advertisements, the
music, even the food.

 I teach private and group lessons.  During these lessons,
students experience anything from being blindfolded to
acting out small skits.  I also tend to use music in my lessons
and associate it with words.  I do not teach from a textbook.  
My lessons usually focus around what the student is trying to
accomplish by taking Italian lessons.
